CERTIF-ICE offers specialized icing certification and certification-meteorology courses for aerospace professionals, bringing together participants from industry, OEMs, certification agencies, and academic institutions worldwide.
20th International Icing Course
The course brought together 14 participants from 7 countries, including 4 major OEMs and several academic institutions. Participants joined from Canada, China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, and the United States, spanning time zones from the west coast of the USA to Japan. From both instructor and participant perspectives, the course successfully highlighted the status of validated 3D CFD tools available to support certification by analysis.
19th International Icing Course
The 19th International Icing Course was a resounding success, bringing together 26 attendees from 11 countries: Brazil, Canada, the United States, France, Poland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, India, Singapore, South Korea, and Turkey. Participant comments are included below. The course also helped build momentum toward the 20th International Online Icing Course, which was expected to be announced with scheduling options to accommodate widely different time zones.
